Good place to stay with children as you have separate bedroom and food preparation facilities.
We asked for extra blankets and the hotel was only able to provide one. This was ok as we just kept heating on all night.

Hotel located 300m from the ocean beach - just through the dunes, outside the centre of Rota (by foot It takes 30-40 min to the centre). When the tide is off, you hardly can swim next to the hotel because of "corrals" - ancient, roman, stone made fences in the ocean... If you want to take bath in the ocean during low water, you have to walk another 300-400m on the beach. Nothing serious but good to know in advance :) Generally nice location and appartments being cleaned every day.
Too expensive during high season! Also, because of the fact that appartments are well "packed" next to each other, can be noisy (children screaming, loud talking etc.).
